There are many good reasons why people choose to stay at the Nire Valley Eco Camp. One of the most popular activities is cycling on the Waterford Greenway. Waterford Greenway bike hire is the ideal option for people who want to cycle the Greenway, without having to bring their own bicycles.
There are several hire shops at the Dungarvan end of the Greenway. To be clear we are not affiliated to any of them. Nor do we recommend one over another. But with a confusing array of business names and duplication it might be useful to read this quick guide.
Some hire shops have been offering shuttle bus services to facilitate one-way journeys. However, due to Covid-19 restrictions these are not currently available.
Prices start from €15 per day for adult bikes and €35 for electric bikes. It is worth shopping around. From published details all the hire shops hire children’s bicycles and trailers.
Some of the hire shops have more than one depot so it is still possible to arrange one way trips, but you will need to arrange transport for a return journey.
