By making a booking at the Nire Valley Eco Camp, you are entering into a contract with us where we agree to provide you with accommodation and you agree to pay for that service. We would like to set out the terms and conditions of that contract.
If the time of booking is more than seven days before the arrival date, you are not required to pay any deposit.
7 Day Free Cancellation Policy
As a small business, cancellations, late changes and no-shows can have a serious effect on our ability to provide a first-class service. We also understand that circumstances can change and require you to change or cancel a booking.
Therefore we operate a flexible booking policy that allows for free cancellation or changes up to 4.00 pm, on the seventh day before you are due to arrive. You will receive a link with your confirmation email that enables you to manage your booking within the free cancellation period.
After the 7-day deadline you are liable for the full amount and we may, at our discretion, seek full or partial payment for the term of your booking, depending on the length of your stay:
- For all bookings of three days or less we require 100% of the full amount due at the end of the free cancellation period.
- For all bookings of more than three days we require 50% of the full amount due at the end of the free cancellation period.
At the end of the free cancellation period, or if you make a booking less than seven days before your arrival date, you are liable for payment in full for the duration of your stay. In either event you will receive an email or an SMS message containing a secure link to our payment portal. You will then be able to make the payment with a credit card or debit card.
You will be asked while making your booking whether you wish to receive your payment link by email or by SMS. You must ensure at the time of booking that you have provided us with a correct email address and mobile telephone number. If the requested payment is not received within 24hours we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
If for any reason you have not been asked to make the payment in advance you will pay on arrival at the property.
In the event that you cancel your booking within seven days of arrival you are liable to pay for the first day of any booking period, regardless of the reason for cancellation. If we are able to resell the remaining period of your booking we will refund the balance of your payment. If we are unable to resell the remaining nights, or any part of the period of the booking after the first night, you must pay for nights that remain unsold.
In the event of Covid-19 measures that lead to closure of our business, or that prevent you from travelling, we will refund all payments in full immediately.
We accept that breakages occur to crockery or glassware but excessive breakages that could reasonably be deemed careless, will be have to be paid for. You are liable to pay for any damage to the fabric of the building, its fixtures, fittings, and furnishings.
A complementary breakfast is provided, between 8.00 am and 9.30 am. Further details are included in our Accommodation page. You are free to prepare your own breakfast using the cabin facilities if you so choose. There will be no price reductions if you choose not to have breakfast.
Check In/Check Out Times:
Our check-in time is between 4.00 pm and 10.00 pm. Due to Covid-19 measures and our cleaning and sterilising regime, we cannot facilitate earlier check-ins. Should your plans include an arrival time of later than 10pm, please let us know.
Check-out is at 11.00 am each morning. Again, due to Covid-19 measures, we cannot facilitate later check-out times.
No Smoking, No Vaping, No Candles, No Incense, No Naked Flames
We hate saying “No” but sometimes there is no way to avoid it. Our cabins are made from timber. Smoking or vaping is not allowed anywhere in the cabins, including the decks. We ask that you be considerate of other guests if you do choose to smoke and take a walk away from your cabin. We reserve the right to charge the credit/debit card on file a minimum fee of €250 to cover the cost of deep cleaning and/or replacing furniture, window treatments, rugs and bedding if it is determined that a guest has violated this smoking policy.
We have free parking for one vehicle per cabin. Should you have more than one vehicle or a larger vehicle, including trailers, please notify us in advance. We are not responsible for damage to vehicles, for damage to items left inside the vehicle, or for loss of property from parked vehicles.

We ask that guests observe a quiet time between the hours of 11 pm and 8 am. Those staying with us who disturb other guests will be asked to leave and will not be provided a refund.
